The successful development and implementation of River Basin Management Plans is key to European water policy and key decisions on our water management for the future need to be taken this year.

The 2^nd European Water Conference which will be held on the 2^nd and 3^rd of April 2009 in Brussels, invites decision makers and stakeholders from across the EU to discuss strategic water management issues and to actively participate in the process.
