Flimap400 is another technique to survey dikes. FLI-MAP offers a fast, accurate and cost-effective way to obtain high accuracy data of elongated infrastructural corridors (e.g. levees) by integrating state-of-the-art surveying techniques, including laser scanning, high-resolution photos and video imagery. This data is used for a wide diversity of applications and has been used for the surveying of over 100.000 miles of levees in Europe and recently in New Orleans.
